Here is a handmade Guru Padmasambhava statue, also known as a Guru Rinpoche statue. This high-quality gilded Guru statue is made by a fourth-generation sculptor in Nepal. Highly decorated with meticulous carvings and a smooth surface makes this statue unique.

Padmasambhava was the most powerful apostle of Tantrism and is a very eminent saint in the spiritual lineage of the Nyingmapa order of Tibetan Buddhism, of which he was the founder. He was born from a lotus flower (Padma), in Dhankasha lake in Udiayana, an ancient city of India. He gained great notoriety as a powerful exorcist and was invited by King Trisong Detsen in approx. 715 to come to Tibet to subdue local spirits that were hindering the introduction of Buddhism. Using Phur-Pa rituals ("tent pole" ceremonials), Padmasambhava convinced the local spirits to become protectors of the Dharma (Dharmapalas). He lived in Tibet for 50 years
