Thanks Buddha Chezerig
Classical Chenrezig Buddha Thangka, in Sanskrit
Avalokiteshvara. Beautiful Thangka representing Buddha
Chenrezig, the Buddha of infinite compassion. Hand-painted
with great skill by Nepalese artists on cotton canvas and
framed in mixed silk brocade fabric, as tradition dictates for this type of art. This representation of Buddha Chenrezig is rich in details,
a very useful aspect for meditation and visualization. It is a classic representation in which the colors are
pure and bright. Chenrezig is the great Buddha of love and compassion, in this Thangka he is represented in his
peaceful emanation, with four arms, seated on a large lotus flower. The rosary in his right hand represents his aspiration and commitment to free
all beings from ignorance, while in his left hand we find the lotus flower which indicates the passage from a mind
contaminated by ignorance to a mind of perfect Buddhahood. The two clasped hands represent his power to gather the necessary conditions through his
compassionate intentions.
