The statue was handcrafted by skilled Nepalese artisans renowned for their artistic abilities, and is considered a unique work of art. It is made up of various pieces that fit together, such as the upper part which can be removed and represents the Buddha Vairochana looking in all four directions simultaneously, signifying the realization of the enlightened mind. Below, there are 4 statues, each facing a different direction. These small statues can be easily moved; overall, the work is stable and robust thanks to the method with which it was created.

The dome refers to the sacred Swayambhunath Stupa in Kathmandu.
