Lakshmi is seated in the ardhapadmasana or half-lotus position, holding two lotus flowers in both hands, symbols of beauty, prosperity, and fertility, with her other two hands in the varada mudra, or boon-granting gesture, and abhaya mudra, or fear-not hand gesture.

She is seated in front of a large arch with Mahakala or Great Time at the top of the arch.

Lakshmi is the Hindu goddess of wealth. By having a statue of her in your home, you are inviting abundance into your home and life.

Lakshmi is seated on a lotus base, holding two lotus flowers. Her front right hand is held in the abhaya mudra while her left hand is in the varada mudra, bestowing gifts upon her devotees. Lakshmi is the Hindu goddess of wealth. Not particularly wealth in terms of money, but in terms of abundance in spiritual terms of happiness and bliss. An arch surrounds her with Mahakala at the top of the arch. As the wife of Lord Vishnu, she takes on various avatars to accompany Vishnu in his quest to uphold dharma. One avatar she took was Bhoodevi, the mother earth goddess. She seems to embody the Mother in this sculpture.
