Our Tibetan Green Tara statue displays the Varada mudra with her right hand. This is also known as the “gift-giving” mudra. This venerable mudra provides additional assurances to her devotees that she is ready to spring to their aid immediately. Her left hand displays the Abhaya mudra. This mudra is also known as the symbol of protection and fearlessness.

The face of the statue is hand-painted with intricate precision and the third eye of wisdom is present between the eyebrows. This divine eye indicates she is a high-level bodhisattva with the ability to see into a divine world. Additionally, this world can only be viewed through the accumulation of insight wisdom.
