This beautiful wooden box is made in Nepal with traditional Tibetan Buddhist symbols. It is special because it is hand-drawn on Himalayan wood, which is very light and durable. It can also be used as a jewelry box for personal items. Another thing we can do is use it as a decoration for our home and even for our offices, as it is a traditional art of Tibetan craftsmanship.
In Tibetan Buddhism, the lotus flower symbolizes purity, spiritual awakening, and enlightenment, as it emerges unstained from the mud to bloom in the sun, just as the mind can achieve purity despite facing the difficulties of the world. It is a central symbol, depicted as a throne for deities and representing the spiritual path, as in the mantra "Oṃ Maṇi Padme Hūṃ" (O jewel in the lotus).
In Tibetan Buddhism, the symbol of the double vajra (or dorje in Tibetan), known as Visvavajra, represents indestructible spiritual power, the stability of the mind, and the perfect activity of the Buddha for the benefit of all beings. Its four points radiating from a center symbolize adamantine (diamond-like) perfection and light expanding in all directions, manifesting its invincible power and the complete elimination of ignorance.
