Tingsha are two small plates made of 7 metals, joined by a leather strap. It is commonly used by Tibetan practitioners during prayers and ritual ceremonies. These two metal plates are struck together to produce a clear and sharp tone. Tingsha plates are quite thick, which helps to produce long bell-like sounds.

Tingsha can be used together with Tibetan singing bowls and other instruments during meditation, sound healing, therapy, and music sessions. Many yoga centers, meditation centers, and healing centers use Tingsha, but Tingsha is also a religious ritual instrument.
