Four-armed Chenrezig (Avalokiteshvara in Sanskrit). Beautiful statue made of silver-plated copper, entirely handcrafted by Nepalese Newari artists, considered the best in metalworking.

Chenrezig is the great Buddha of love and compassion. In this statue, he is depicted in his peaceful emanation, with four arms, seated on a large lotus flower. The white crystal rosary in his right hand represents his aspiration and commitment to free all beings from ignorance, while in his left hand we find the lotus flower, which indicates the transition from a mind contaminated by ignorance to a mind of perfect Buddhahood. His two joined hands represent his power to gather the necessary conditions through his compassionate intentions.

Placing his statue on home altars, or simply in shared spaces, is certainly a great blessing for realizing these two great qualities of mind and bringing harmony to relationships.
