Tibetan bracelet with turquoise, bamboo coral, and dandelion dzi beads

This bracelet is handmade in Nepal by Tibetan women with three important Tibetan stones as jewelry and amulets.

Tibetans believe that turquoise and coral have healing qualities and that gemstones can provide protection. Most semi-precious gems are found in the Himalayas with some gems e.g. blue lapis lazuli being imported from Afghanistan.
